hey dan do u have a white teg???? there was one at pod one time when we was there. i heard of that event in shakespare, one of my friends has a civic with an identical build to ours that should be there at one of the events. thats one to look out for as well, he should be pushin over 800bhp in an eg. and trust me it looks sick.
its tru u know i ve seen alot of turbo builds from the uk and i mean proper builds and ur not seeing them on the track. when we had a stock sleeved block there were alot of sleeved block turbo civics build up's. now we got out erl sleeved built motor u still see them popin up but no one is goin to the 1/4.
scott did 10.6 at 136mph with 509bhp and we did 11.0 at 134mph in the same yr. ur car weighs less than 800kg with 400bhp, and mine which is 1000kg with 450bhp who has the advantage. if we had a better 60ft we would have done 10.6-8. the best we done at the 60ft is 1.8-9 but because most days pod aint prept as good as the big events.
so ur tellin me that 2 cars that have the same power and 60ft but the only difference is weight that the 2 cars gonna do the same time lol. ok try this put 200kg in ur car as it is (same power and weight it did 10.9) and run 10.9. all im sayin weight counts.
i think the cars in cars in the drag series had to weigh 1080kg for turbo and more if ur using turbo and nos or something like that to enter. so it had all the sound deadenin, front carpet, oem roof liners, dash, door cards. basicly everything from the front seat forward is stock. had the carbon bonet and the rear spoiler.
hey yasir, i told people that the car was over 950 kg and they dont believe me. we
had in an hauser racing 8.5sec roll cage and the car was fully preped for the hks drag series.
new setup will be out soon along side yasir's monster.
