Anyone recommend any good scary films, old or new ??
Paranormal activity 1 + 2 were ok.
Seen 'The strangers', that had a good few jumpy bits.

This looks good! Out in August apparently.

I really struggle to find scary films that shit me up!! honestly, when i was younger i used to be terrified but now i really struggle. Insidious got me a couple of times but overall it wasnt that bad.

The amityville horror used to scare the shit out of me tho! I need to get it on dvd see if it still gets me! The remake im talking about :) proper cool film

Edward Dildo hands is possibly the wierdest film ive seen.

Yeh it was a good film, but the second one was avaliable only on DVD and didnt hit the cinemas as the reception wasnt that good,

Go watch insidious dude, its very good and one of my favourite scary movies, proper logic behind it.

Basically, its a film made to look like real events of a bunch of people in a small town basically taking drugs and ripping each other apart.

Its so discusting to watch its un true.

You do realise "The Fourth Kind" isn't actualy based on real events - just made to look that way.

Ok heres a few i've recently downloaded. Although none of them have really been particularly scary (must be getting old.)

Devil - M Night Shyamalan, typical "twist" film. Bit meh, but watchable.

Outpost - nazi zombies. Bit meh, but OK.

La Horde - french zombie film, was alright but not one for you if you cant stand subtitles or badly dubbed films.

Resident Evil: Afterlife - pure awful cheese.

Husk - predictable but was OK.

Prowl - all seemed a bit pointless really. If you are bored will kill a couple of hours.

Splinter - OK, generic monster movie.

I Spit on your Grave - bit messed up and not a "proper" horror IMO but was alright.

Quarantine - OK, will be watching nuymber 2 when it comes about. Apparently REC (the orginal) was better.

Slither - Doesn't take itself too seriosuly - decent watch!

The Rite - worth a watch. Wasn't awful but one word.. "Donkey" LOL!

Paranormal Activity & Part 2 - couple of bits that make you jump but in all honesty not as bad as some of my mates made out.

The Descent & Part 2 - worth watching, not the greatest plot in the world mind you!

And some oldies...

Prince of Darkness - Classic John Carpenter, not aged too well though.

In the mouth of Madness - Another JC film, quite psychological, gave me nightmares as a kid!

The Thing - (yep, another JC film) pure quality, can't wait for the prequel although i just hope they don't ruin it like all the otehr "re-imagined" films done recently.

Hellraiser - WOW, I cannot believe how badly this has aged!
