I don't think there's such thing as a scary film. They seem to make them too damn cheesy or predictable.

Revival...

YellowBrickRoad - Don't bother with this; awful acting, non-sensical plot, waste of an hour and a half.

The Shrine - Worth a shout, not a bad film although a bit predictable. Not a bad way to waste an evening :)

The Ruins - LOL, pretty awful. No as bad as Yellow Brick Road mind you!

i have a rather extensive film collection and it rare to find a film that actualy scares me a few choice ones for horror i could recomend

session 9 ( quite a good twist to it) cant remeber when it was released
Stakeland (little heard of film but its quite good admist the sea of vampire trash out there atm )
the tunnel (weird)
human centipede 2 ( revoultion)
IT (truly classic prob not very scary now though )
Pontypool (again very unknown but good none the less)
any of the hostels ( gota love the tarrantino)
shrooms ( little unheard of)
creep ( well worth a whatch)

got loads more those are just to start with
