Anybody keeping an eye out for this?? Having played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I can officially vouch this will be the world's most EPIC RPG.

This won't be for everyone but an epic game nonetheless.

Size wise and stuff epic, I personally found oblivion to glitchy. If they can sort this out and the conversations with people that have as much personality as a brick wall it will be even better.

itll be the same as usual from bethesda, if however you want an even better game go back and play MORROWIND goty edition... thats still the benchmark in my eyes

Fallout 3 I found better than Oblivion but agree that the brick wall characters. Either way, im looking forward to Skyrim. Another few months of my life wasted BUT money saved!!!

oblivion glitched on the final mission for me, so i never got to officially complete it, proper shit, but an amazing game non the less. I really enjoyed it & will deffo be gettin this.

Hmmm i like an RPG, but i prefer SciFi than medieval/fantasy stuff.

Mass Effect did it for me! That was decent, really im too into cars and football to get down into an RPG, i always get about 1/4 thru leveling and get bored. Its all a bit too long winded, especially the MMORPGs!

These games are best! Got addicted to Morrowind when i was younger, comlpeted oblivion, will definatley get this!

I remember reading (can't remember where) that it's highly likley there won't be a playable demo. Typical Bethesda

Still learning stuff as this and witcher 2 are my first rpg games like this

tbh morrowind and oblivion are two of my all time fave games, but im gunna give skyrim a miss. been round my mates playing it and have been massivley dissapointed really. i struggle to see anything much thats massivley updated =/ it looks and feels sooo similar and the changes are so small that it might aswell of been an expansion pack for oblivion. just my 2p from what ive seen of it so far. decent, but not for 40 squids

I had Oblivion and now Skyrim both on pc both with the settings maxed out and i can easily say Skyrim has immensely better gfx then Oblivion as well as a host of other features that make it more life like

Skyrim was bound to be miles ahead in the graphics dept but at the same time, after playing Elder Scrolls then Fallout 3 I am really missing quite badly a good battle/combat system. In general the battle encounters are quite quick (depending on your difficulty of course) but the reaction of your enemies is quite lifeless. I mean if im coming at you with a mahoosive two handed battle axe and strike you, there would be some sort of stumble on your opponent. Fallout 3 did well with crippling enemies but same time, if you shot off or sliced someones leg, they should not instantly die but give me a few minutes to provide a finishing move or something.

I have seen the gameplay and the fights do seem a bit more fluent than Oblivion: Elder Scrolls but at the same time, I was still expecting more. I have a feeling I will follow the crowd and get this at some point but not got that urge to buy.

im going to buy this at the weekend i think. need a good RPG to get my teeth into over xmas! played morrowwind for ages! didnt buy oblivion but look great when i went to my mates and saw him on it. hoping skyrim is as good!
