Ive had mine a few days now and noticed he is changing colour in places,im assuming that he is adapting to his surroundings.
I was also looking for some advice on feeding him (his name is simon btw) lol, Some people suggest putting a chunk of cucumber or similar on a stainless fork and leaving it on the bottom for him.
Atm im currently putting an algee wafer in the tank in the evening, but he never seems bothered with it.
Any advice would be appreciated.

As for eating the Algee wafer will be sufficient. He will always clean the shit of the tank anyway. You can feed them slices of cucumber but they will only eat the inside bits. So make sure you take them out otherwise they will contaminate the water ect.
You do realize how big plecs can get?
Also if you have a pond outside you can put them in the pond over the summer months! As the water stays warmer
If you want any more info on anything let me
Know dude. Take some pics y0!

How bigs your tank and what type of plec is it? Can sometimes be down to poor water quality too. Algae wafers twice a week as a boost. Bogwood is also good as it replicates natural environment and some panaque varieties have bogwood as a big part in their diet.
Fish geek ftw.

Did you soak the wood first? There's tanins in bogwood which makes the water yellow and acidic.

The guy in the shop says the angel; fish should be ok with the neons but to keep an eye on them.
Ive named the fish too
Simon is the pleco.
The shoal of neons are team sushi.
The flying fox is Fantastic mr Fox.
The 2 catfish are Kit and Kat.
The 2 skunk thingys are Skunk2.
