I have always had a passion for drumming, never got around to learning it though, have the odd play here and there but I am shit haha.

But never to late to learn, may do it soon.

That electric is awesome, i had a go on a TD9 a while ago and loved it. But the feel of a real kit is till so different from an electric one, thats the main reason i've still got my acoustic for practising in the house.

My kit comprises of:

CB Drums 22" bass (Evans EMAD 2 batter, stock reso)
CB Drums 12" tom (Evans EC2 batter, stock reso)
CB Drums 16" tom (Evans EC2 batter, stock reso)
DDrum Custom 14x6.5 snare (Evans power centre reverse dot batter, hazy 300 reso with 40 wire snare)

Mapex Boom stand (2)
Mapex double kicks
Mapex tractor throne :D
CB hi hat stand :(
CB straight stand :(
CB snare stand :(

ZXT 14" hi hats
ZXT 16" crash
Planet Z 16" crash
SH 17" thin crash
Planet Z 20" ride

The drums are proper budget ones, but i've got them tuned perfectly for me, love how they sound now :). Dont use the Planet Z crash, its just sitting in my cymbal bag haha.

Here's some pics of the kit.... (ignore the cymbals, these are old pics haha)

Ideally, i want new hardware to replace the CB stuff, but since i've had the car i've stopped buying drum stuff haha. Then its new cymbals, then new shells.

Cheers man :) Just realised all the pics have the stock head on the snare haha. Yeah, my neighbours hate the noise, im using silencer pads atm which sucks :(

I usually play rock/metal/hardcore/funk. Most things really haha. I used to play a lot of jazz while i was at school, but i've cut down on that now. How about you?
