Any one else playing and loving SW:TOR ?
After being an on/off obsessive WoW player for the last 4.5years I was growing increasingly tired of the same old gear ginding dullness and teh Pandas finished my intrest off utterly. So my partner got SW:TOR on the day it came out and convinced me to get it; so I bought it with a £50 tesco voucher I got from work for christmas and not looked back.
Loving my Jedi Knight and the Commando - both rock in their own ways, but not been tempted by any sith chars yet.

I beta tested it. Not bought the retail though. MMO's aren't my thing, but I did enjoy SW:TOR when testing it out. Very easy to get into If i was to start MMO'ing, i'd certainly go with it.
IIRC, it's not a particulary hardware demanding. A good alround system should play it on full with easy. Certainly on a single screen anyway, but MMO's ideally need tripple screen so you can flick through your inventory quickly. It also allow#s the main screen to be less cluttered.

I couldn't be arsed with it after the beta.. Just another wow clone that's trying to sell itself with glitzy npc chat options.. very dissapointed, plus the space combat reminds of shadows of the empire, Shooting on rails?? In this day and age?
A galaxy divided was much the better game both on the ground and in space. Tor doesn't even finish the Revan storyline as was promised..

I would be all over this... but i'm lucky if i get an hour to myself these days. Heard good things from my brother playing the Beta though.

AMD Athlon Dual Core 3.2Ghz
4Gb Black Dragon DDR3 Ram
Nvidia 1Gb Graphics Card (Can't remember Model will check when i get in)
I run everything on full apart from the mesh texture (i think) on medium, and shadow detail on medium, no anti aliasing. If i get a new CPU ill be ok i think. Could also overclock a bit but it's too much faffing.
You can also download the client for free off their site.. Which i didn't realise till after i spent £30 on the CD's, but with ~8Gig on each disk it's a long downoad time, so i think 30 quid isn't too bad anyway. ~7.99 a month i think?!

hmm my PC isnt far off the same spec as yours, only my cpu is a celeron dual core i need to upgrade it badly to an pentium dual core.....
