any CSS fans on here? anyone want to play some public or if you are good at the game want to get some mixes? used 2 be pretty good and only got back into it the last few weeks so be nice to play with a few new faces

ahh man i used to love source, trying to build a custom comp at the mo to get back into pc gaming..

I used to love CS: 1.6 .. scoutzknivez was awesome!

haha classic map css is pretty cpu dependant so if you find a good cpu and half tidy graphics you should be fine. they have that map on CSS also

A basic spec PC will run CSS flat out these days lol. I have it steam still!! Frustrates me though im no good anymore!

I remember getting into this 7 years ago when i lost my job at McDonalds lol

I remember waking up one morning, thinking 'i'll just have 1 round on CSS and then get breakfast', after what seemed like a short while i started wondering why the room was getting darker. That's when i realised i'd been playing on it for 8 hours solid. FML lol

Seriously addictive game which was killed off by COD MW1, still worth playing though, it's so un-demanding to play, i reckon most budget laptops would probably even be able to play it now days

Woah! Brings back memories! Back to the days where I would quite happily sit on the computer ALL DAY without a care in the world. Nowadays if I sit on the computer for any more than an hour I think I'm wasting time lol.

Used to be well good back in the day also, now I am fuckin shit! I went to 3 of the iSeries LAN Parties (i16, i17 & i19). Those were days where I carried (struggled) my 19" CRT monitor! Yea boy!

Wish I had the time to experiment with old games again, but I don't

lol poom.. i went to i22 i believe that was my first real LAN... not competitive though just went for fun, my first competitive LAN was i28 and by i31 managed to make 3rd place at i-series think we won £1500 at the time. good times :>

lol mental! I never competed at the iSeries. Just went for fun, I was in a clan that was Internet based, so we couldn't meet up for a LAN.

just so everyone knows.. pretty much anything will run this game nowadays, ive been playing it at work with a few lads on a

pentium D 2gb ram win7 pro and a crappy gfx card.. runs sweet! haha

yeah £1500 was sweet, we went on to come 2nd at CGS which was on sky TV we got £2500 for that one and loads of time away in hotels and in birmingham and london.. good times. nice to play it for fun now though.

Doe this game is olddd my little brother whos 7 years younger has been really into css and prefers it to COD. Im suprised at how many people still play it, its not a game that will go quietly lol

i used 2 play quake 2 on 56k lmao. 140ms ping ftw!! zombie mod is so much fun if you can get on mumble or ventrillo while playing it with friends its even better.

fml didnt think anyone still played this. I sweatr i havnt logged into steam for like 6/7 years i just guessed my detailed and got it right first to WIN. going to get CSS downloaded again!

What was your name in the game? Mine was funk

I've played source for about 5 years, haven't played it in around 6 months now though or been in a team for well over a year. Went to a good few Irish lan's and one of the Iseries in 2010. Was good but a real eye opener to how serious some people play the game.

It ridiculous how it's changed, I used to play CS 1.6 back in like Year 8 of school. Had our school "clan" and shiz, our own server and vent/ts2.

I'll have a look at opening up steam again and actually remember what my user name is.
