weak handbrake

my handbrake is quite weak and needs tightening up, is it just a case off adjusting the 2 nuts behind the hand brake handle or is there more to it than that?

that should do it chap, though if you have drums it could be that they need adjustment :)

Discs are shit for handbrakes anyway but try the nut tightening.

Pads are new done less than 1000 miles! Yeah Iv noticed the handbrake is sh*t with discs on the rear.

Yeah could be the nuts or if its old may be the handbrake cable been stretched, doubtful but worth a thought!
