no way are people saying PS1 games are oldschool, are you all like 12 or something?

I used to love Centipede on the Commodore64, and also PacMan Junior on the Atari

favourite Master System games were Sonic the Hedgehog and Alex Kidd (Built into the system, how advanced was that in 1990!) also loved a bit of World Cup-Italia '90 Asterix and Obelix, and Paperboy....and i noticed California Games being mentioned too, amazing

Was never a Nintendo kid, but loved micromachines when it eventually came out for the Sega!

Had a Megadrive 1 then a Megadrive 2, and loved Altered Beast, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Batman, Sparkster and again all the Sonic Games! Remember being over the moon when EA Sports started bringing out games with memory chips in them, so loved FIFA95 and stuff like that!

Emulators are amazing, just wish more ROMS were available

PS1 games are old school for some. Not every family had the money for console's in the 90's. Prity much all of my console's were hand me downs untill PS2.

Personaly I recon there were alot of all time great games on the PS1 and N64 may not be classical or ancient but still worth mentioning.

sled storm on the ps1 was an awesome game. (racing snowmobiles and stuff). also road rash was one i spent many days after school playing.

Paper boy = Sega megadrive (i think)

My early gaming was all amiga 500/1200 and ZX Spectrum based as we didnt get a console till my bro got a PS1 so..

Speccy - Chucky egg, heads and tails, any of the Dizzy games (i remember my brothers mate hacking into the game to cheat)

PC - sim city

Amiga - the settlers, colanisation (i still play this on emulator 17yrs on lol), cannon fodder - god bless you jools and jops! beneath a steel sky, any of the monkey island games (16 disks iirc!), SWOS - even tho my bro whupped me at it all the time, Frontier elite II - a whole universe of planets and trading on 2 disks - the second disk just for save games beat that modern 50gig installs not to mention a game with no 'win/loose' only play and try to do better... Syndicate - which ive recently seen they have redone - OMG it looks uber! Theres so many many more, I remember playing the games but forget the names

PS1 was all about FF7 - ohhh Tifa! , demo derby, GT1, C&C

Arcade had to be a mis-spent youth of the 90's spent pumping £1 coins at many sea side resorts in the mighty 'Daytona!!!!!!!! lets go the race....... USA', on a sit down full car 8 player link up in the arcade was the only way to play and whupp my brother who always chose ghay auto over uber 4 speed manual, knock it down into 3rd and drifto sonic corner FTW! If i had the room, money and my gf wouldnt kill me i would so buy a machine to play it (the sega mega drive version sucked before anyone mentions it as an alternative)
