I saw it, the only reason it broke was because that driver over-revved it on the entrance to a corner on track.

I saw this and i'm a bit curious as to how they managed to get a full set of brakes, pads, tyres, wheels and Spax coilovers all brand new for £400 lol.
They swapped the D14 non-VTEC for a D16Z6 and turbo'd it to about 190bhp (I think?) and the engine shat itself lol. Pretty sure Hond-R's D16Z6 is running 260bhp and hasn't blown up lol (stock internals).
Was a funny episode, recomend watching it!

They got the original engines power wrong I noticed. EJ9's have 88/89bhp, not 75.
Was expecting more from it tbh, the whole program was a bit of a let-down for me
