This is a great show that has come over from the states.
Centers on Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody, who returns home eight years after going missing in Iraq, and Carrie Mathison, a driven (and possibly unstable) CIA officer who suspects he might be plotting an attack on America

Yes! It's made by the same people as 24 (which was awesome) and it shows. Should be good, I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Watched the Pilot episode in my lunch today, looks pretty promising so far!

Another to look out for is Alcatraz, it's awesome! Starts airing here next month, been on in the States for a while now.

I must admit, it hasn't gripped me as much as I'd hoped. Although, it's good to watch at lunch time when I have nothing better to do

i know what you meen homlands is quite hard to get your head around, but give it time, it did not win all those grameys for nothing!
as for Alcatraz its quite griping trying to figure out wtf is going on i think im up to s1 ep5 and its getting better.

I like Homeland, it is a good show

The only bit I find really annoying is Claire Danes' character, by hiding her illness from the CIA she could potentially have put lives at risk with a lapse in judgment (her affair with Brody is a good example of bad judgment - sorry for the spoiler). I bet they will write her back into the CIA somehow in the next season, they really shouldnt.

Could've put spoiler warnings!!! Thankfully it's not a massive one and I'm smashed so probably won't remember

I'm finding Homeland quite slow; not as fast paced or as mamy twists as 24, but definitely a similar style so I know not all is as it seems but I honestly don't know how it'll pan out. Probably the only thing on telly that I actually make time to watch; even Top Gear gets watched on iPlayer.
