this guy trying to make eg civic super-eco haha! :P

teaser pics and quoteage...

I

plan to implement the following modifications, in roughly this order:
1.) Rear wheel fairings (not the most effective, I know, but the easiest, and most forgiving)
2.)Front wheel fairings
3.)Partial front belly pan
4.)Fiberglas front nose/splitter
5.)Boat-tail

WTF... clearly a joke!
The front bumper is not in the slightest aerodynamic! Oddly the rear looks like a Datsun 240z a bit

i thought that at first but its a serious forum lol, i read like 50% of the build up!!! wtf the front bumper must be drag-tastic, blocks all cooling, looks ghey lol!!! its funny cos its actually serious hehe!

Was going to say the same thing too James :D

The front is almost as aerodynamic as a brick wall! :S

95mpg?!

The end result is a car with such low drag that the results of coastdown testing is linear out to 90mph (it coasts almost as well at 80mph as it does at 50mph). I have to get it over 90mph before I start to feel the wind load from high-speed driving. OEM max speed was 95mph. I have had it up to 100mph with plenty of power remaining at that speed (estimated top speed of about 140mph). Wind noise is much reduced from stock. Approximate mileage on a flat road at 85F, 95mpg at 30 to 65mph, 85mpg at 70mph, 65mpg at 80mph, 50mpg at 90mph.

Surely the extra weight would counter any of the (shite) aerodynamics that he has done

So you spunked in her eye and stamped on her foot and she laughed???

Try a monkey face, bend her over, shag her, spit on her back so she thinks you've cum, then when she turns around spunk over her face then rip out a hand full of pubic hair and throw that at her face, she if she laughs then lol

Looks awful , but aerodynamics always do lol.

Mind that bumper is way WAY better than stock, aerodynamicly speaking.

The worlds fastest civic (or atleast it used to be , dunno about now) uses an almost identical bumper to do its 200mph+ runs. (And obviously on a top speed run , drag is the enemy)

WTF??? Surely there is not any point doing that to a car as people have said it would increase the drag, sure they have not got a wind tunnel to prove that it actually helps? Would be better off buying a canoe and putting a bloody engine in it would have better results than bolting bits of plastic on the sides!! Made my day though :D

Covering the wheel arches reduces alot of drag (shame the brakes overheat though). It aint some wierd idea either , its a very very old one thats tried & tested lol.

eg, still applied to some modern fuel efficient cars

Its also important to spot the Triangular add on's , under the car just before each wheel that reduce the ground clearance. These also make a canny difference
