It has become very apparent that members are trying to use the status update function to advertise parts for sale.
This will not be tolerated, as it is a blatant disregard for the rules.
To combat this; from now on, only trusted users (people with over 250 posts) can update their statuses.
Apologies for anyone using it as a chat box, but if you do the same on the forum (in the lounge...) you'll be up to 250 posts in no time!

Just wanted to add one more thing to this
Even if you have the required amount of posts to sell items, it still needs to go in the for sale section following the template guidelines, not in the updates
