That's where I come from with cars, you modify it to make it faster. All the other stuff is for scene kids, yeah nice wheels and some small asthetic mods, but some of these things are completley over the top, just to win points within a scene or culture, thats a bit gay IMO and people will only grow out of it with time.

It was the same 10 years ago with the big body kits and clear lights, that was the fashion back then, and this is the fashion right now. Either way, its RICE.

Gary knows the LTC group has reduced permissions from when it was mentioned that we can't report posts :)

Works for me, nice one Porker. I'm confused as to the parameters of the different groups though? What makes a member an established poster or a LTC exactly? :S

when you sign up, you'll be in a default group "New Member" or suchlike, and the natural progression with a certain amount of posts is to move up to "Regular" or something else

the settings in IPB Admin allow you to set up groups that are "invite only" as in the Admin decide what group users are in. The default "promotion" categories still exist, and there is a default set of rules that EVERY member has...but different groups have different rights of access in different areas of the forum IE: Events Co-ordinator can't Moderate the For Sale section, only the Events section!

So the admin have decided that we're LTCs and others are EPs, so worthy of being in those groups, which could have different access to parts of the forum that "Members" or "Regulars" wouldn't be able to see, if the admin so chose to make it like that!

Of course, the admin mask can see everything

The member map and report post button are "privileges" that although are in the default user group, hadn't been mirrored to the LTC group, or had accidently been turned off for the LTCs!

Oh I know how everything works in that respect.

Never mind, I've just realised what's different! Duh, pretty obvious  I still want a shiny colourful group name though :P

Pretty sure the established poster group is pink because it's the one I set up for area reps that's been edited to form whatever the established poster group is meant for... which I've no idea.

And that was pink because Vince asked for it to be. lol

Or it's a new usergroup and Porkchop has copied the code for the HTML colour for use on the new group.

Pink is the best colour ever Posted Image

^ I hate green... move me to the pink one if mine gets made green, I'm not fussed about the certain privilege this one gets me... and I'm curious as to what the EP group is for anyway.
